Royal pet portrait in Renaissance style

Velvet, ermine, gold and a dark, warm background: Renaissance and Baroque court portraits were painted for kings and queens. Today your dog or cat takes their place – painted from your own photo.

The look of a court portrait

Our royal portraits follow the old masters: soft light from the side, visible brushstrokes, deep colours and a pose full of dignity. Your pet sits on a velvet cushion, dressed in a royal cape or a silk gown with pearls.

Two royal costumes

• The King – red velvet cape with white ermine trim, gold chain with medallion and a small jewelled crown.
• The Queen – pale blue and silver silk gown with pearls and a small tiara.

For the Christmas season there are also the Christmas King and the Winter Queen.

Royal, but true to life

The costume is grand – the animal stays real. We do not paint an idealised version of your pet, but exactly your dog or cat: the same eyes, ears, markings and coat. Before printing, we compare the portrait with your photo.

Frequently asked questions

Is it hand-painted?

No. The portraits are created with AI image tools in the style of oil painting and then printed professionally. That is why you can see a free preview straight away.

Which format suits a royal portrait?

Canvas on a wooden frame looks the most like a real painting. The fine art poster is ideal if you want to choose your own frame.
